Lorenzo Patiņo Council, where two cultures -- this year
Peruvian & Mexican
-- are showcased through folkloric music and dance!
The 2004 event was co-hosted by 1st Peruvian LULAC Council of
Orange County.

Annual....
"In Celebration of Our Cultures -- 2003"
With Over 400 in Attendance, this Year's
Event Featured Mexican and Brazilian Culture through Mexican
Folklorico and Brazilian Samba Dance!

Oct. 12, 2002 ------"In
Celebration of Our Cultures --- 2002" -- The Lorenzo Patiņo Council joined with the Golden
State Lions Club to present a celebration of two diverse cultural
entities -- Filipino and Latino -- in which 600 attended. The evening included Latino and Filipino cultural dance
performances, dinner (authentic cuisine), raffle, cultural crafts faire and DJ dancing at the
CSUS University Ballroom in Sacramento! Featured performers were the
Filipino Cultural Dance
Association of Sacramento (FCDAS) and The Folklorico Latino de
Woodland.

for 2002 and Scholarship Awards at
Vallejo's Restaurant.
March 17, 2001 -- "In
Celebration of Our Cultures --- 2001". On March 17, 2001, the Lorenzo Patiņo Council along
with the Halau Ka Waikahe Lani Malie and Halau
Kahulaliwai hosted this cultural event at the Elks Lodge on Riverside and Florin in Sacramento. There were 800 in attendance
and the evening was filled with authentic cuisine, cultural music, entertainment, vendors and raffle
prizes. Featured performances were Mexican indigenous Indian (Azteca) dances by Maquilli Tonatiuh (Danza Azteca) and
Hawaiian dances by the Halau Ka Waikahe Lani Malie
and Halau Kahulaliwai!
